R Ramachandran brings 45 years of refinery leadership to PETRONOVA’s Leadership Advisory Board, having served as Director (Refineries) at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Maharatna public-sector enterprise and one of India’s largest integrated oil refining and marketing companies, with operations spanning the length of the country.
Ramachandran built an outstanding record across plant troubleshooting — with more than 25 major assignments — complemented by substantial leadership in digital transformation, Technical Services Agreements, process safety and HAZOP review, and business planning. His tenure at BPCL encompassed responsibility across operations, technology deployment and performance improvement at national scale, giving him a rare, end-to-end view of what drives safe, reliable and profitable refinery operations.
